Kicking off the holiday season with Cyber Monday deals!
The holiday season is here again, and this week ushers in the deals that folks look forward to every year! Here at Littleton Coin, we love celebrating Cyber Monday with our coin collecting family!
Shopping holiday history
Black Friday (as a term for the shopping holiday) was first dubbed in 1950s Philadelphia. Cyber Monday, of course, had a much later start! The first Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday was first labeled as “Cyber Monday” in 2005.
Back then, Internet speeds in most homes were much slower. So, anyone who had faster Internet speeds available at work would wait until their return to the office after the Thanksgiving holiday. There, they’d check online deals and price compare!
Bringing home the holidays – without leaving home!
Last year, in 2022, shoppers spent a whopping $11.3 billion online for Cyber Monday. As the popularity of online shopping continues to grow, this shopping holiday is beginning to eclipse even Black Friday!
It’s easy to see why… saving time and money, no trips to the store, no waiting in line… Plus, online retailers know this is the day their most valued customers are looking for great holiday deals – and they make sure to deliver.
This year, Littleton Coin Company is joining in the holiday cheer once again! Starting Sunday, 11/26/23 and running through Monday, 11/27/23, you can take 20% off your order – up to a max savings of $100 off your order!
Unique gift ideas, plus local shopping opportunities!
Now’s the perfect time to start making your list – you’ll even have time to “check it twice” before the sale starts! Visit our 2023 Holiday Gifts Catalog online for top gift ideas, or browse our entire site for an even wider selection!
