Mid-Year Marvels:
Can’t Miss 2025 Collectibles!
Collector alert! We’re now past the halfway point of 2025, and there are quite a few new releases to be excited about. From the return of iconic silver dollars to the latest in innovation-themed coinage, these new issues are must-haves for collectors. Let’s take a closer look at these standout 2025 coins and sets!

Silver Classics Reimagined
Now in their 4th year, the modern Morgan and Peace silver dollars have been wildly popular with collectors. And these 2025 releases promise to be the same! Struck in 99.9% pure silver, each Philadelphia Mint issue boasts a limited mintage of 150,000.

Originally issued from 1878-1904, and once again in 1921, the classic Morgan dollar features Liberty on the obverse. Named for its designer, George T. Morgan, the obverse depicts a profile of Liberty that was based on schoolteacher Anna Willess Williams. She was initially reluctant to pose, and insisted on strict secrecy – but Morgan later declared that she had a nearly perfect profile.
In 1921, the Morgan design gave way to an all-new dollar – the only U.S. silver dollar designed to commemorate peace. It shows Liberty wearing a spiked headdress similar to that on the Statue of Liberty. On the reverse, an American eagle is shown facing the new dawn, with the word peace inscribed below.
A 2025 time capsule
If you enjoy coin sets that offer a snapshot of the year, the 2025 U.S. Mint Set is for you. Released annually, Mint Sets include Uncirculated coins from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Presented in official folders, each holds all 5 final-year 2025 U.S. Women quarters, the 2025 Native American dollar, and the Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime & Kennedy half dollar. In all, that’s 20 coins – 10 from the Philadelphia Mint, and 10 from Denver.
The 2025 U.S. Mint Set is a veritable time capsule tribute to the year! Plus, it’s a great way to introduce someone new to the hobby…
Innovation in your hands
Another new 2025 release that’s just become available for collectors is the 2025 Innovation Dollar Proof Set. Started in 2018 with a single design, this series has continued with four new designs each year, 2019-2032. Each $1 coin celebrates a significant American innovation or innovator from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. Territories.
Every year, the unique designs are presented together in an Innovation Dollar Proof Set. For 2025, the states (and their subjects) are:

• Arkansas – Raye Jean Montague earns a nod as the first to design a naval ship using computer-aided design
• Michigan – features the groundbreaking automotive assembly line
• Florida – celebrates the Kennedy Space Center’s Space Shuttle program
• Texas – a tribute to Houston’s Mission Control, which is housed in the Johnson Space Center
Each coin in the U.S. Innovation Dollar Proof Set is struck at the San Francisco Mint, and features frosted design elements set against mirrorlike surfaces.
