Littleton’s Heads & Tails blog ranked in Top 10
coin blogs for collectors and numismatists
Did you know Littleton Coin Company’s Heads & Tails blog is ranked among the Top 10 coin blogs for coin collectors and numismatists?
It’s true. And while we don’t usually like to toot our own horn, it’s quite an accomplishment.
There are more than 100 million coin and paper money collectors in the United States alone. And each year, more and more people discover the hobby. As a result, there are countless blogs and websites aimed at collectors and numismatists.
So we’re proud to have Heads & Tails ranked in the top 10. Especially since that means we’re achieving our goal of helping collectors like you get the most enjoyment from your hobby.
Who ranked the blogs and websites?
Founded in 2012, Feedspot is a privately held company based in Mill Valley, CA. It helps web users find authoritative and trustworthy content by discovering, categorizing and ranking blogs, podcasts and influencers in niche categories.
And they do this by maintaining the largest human-curated database of bloggers and websites on the planet.
Each week, Feedspot ranks thousands of blogs and websites, then updates its lists of the best in each niche. Its coin blogs rankings were originally published as a Top 50 list. But today, the list includes the top 80 coin blogs and websites.
And Littleton’s popular blog has been a mainstay of the list.
Littleton first published Heads & Tails in October of 2014. And since then, the blog has grown to include hundreds of articles – each filled with exciting news and interesting stories for coin and paper money collectors.
It ranked #12 in Feedspot’s list of top coin blogs as early as April of 2017. And was named a Top 10 site in September of 2020.
Today, we’re happy to say Heads & Tails is ranked in the top 10 on Feedspot’s list of the top 80 coin blogs and websites!
How are rankings determined?
Each week, Feedspot categorizes and ranks blogs, podcasts and influencers in niche categories using a combination of algorithmic and human review.
Its index features over 250,000 popular blogs and sites, sorted into more than 5,000 niche categories. Which makes it the world’s largest human-curated database of bloggers and websites.
So how do they determine rankings?
According to its website, Feedspot ranks each site using a variety of criteria. These include relevancy, frequency of posts, domain authority, traffic and social media following and engagement. As well as a number of other factors.
Littleton Coin Company is proud to have Heads & Tails included in the Top 10 blogs for the numismatic community. We couldn’t have reached this milestone achievement without you, and thank each and every one of you for your support.
